As a Peloton fan, I was excited to reach my 100th treadmill session and get my free Century Club shirt. And as much as I love free merch, the design they came up with seemed a bit boring for a brand that’s normally known for being fun, edgy, and modern. So I did what any normal graphic designer would do and created a design for myself.
I noticed a hidden 100 element in the Peloton name and simply highlighted that. The result is a design I think more people would actually wear and is more of a conversation piece.
Also, note to Peloton (and any other company out there actually) – print the design on softer shirts, please! The whole idea of giving away these shirts is you want thousands of walking billboards out there. People won’t wear the shirt if it’s as comfortable as being draped in cardboard. Spend the extra $4 and up your shirt game 🙂
