First Foundations is an early learning center for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. This play-based facility needed a professional-looking logo showing they were a friendly and safe learning environment for children, without looking child-like.
My design solution shows a pyramid symbolizing a strong foundational base (playing off their name) and also includes the visual of children’s stacking blocks, representing their play-based curriculum.
The circle at the top helps create an icon of a child with arms raised in the air showing excitement and fun. The top block and circle elements could also be viewed as a child reading a book.
I chose a more playful font to give this clean, modern logo design a good balance of professionalism and a kid-friendliness.
