R&B Plastics Machinery, a manufacturer of blow molding machines and single screw plastic extruders, came to Casey’s Head looking for a redesign of their outdated website. They also needed help improving their organic search results.

I sat down with R&B’s team to identify their products and services so I could develop a design strategy that would feature their most important offerings, while allowing for future expansion.

With organic search in mind, I designed a site that has given them a modern look containing valuable information focusing on the keyword phrases their potential customers search. Over 70% of their website traffic now comes from organic searches.

Gwen’s Cake Decorating and Etc. is a small bakery located in Saline, Michigan. They were in need of a website that could properly showcase the numerous photographs of cakes, cookies, and other desserts that they make from scratch.

The client wanted the website design to be fun, yet still feel professional.

I designed the website using the pink and brown color scheme used in their logo and created numerous Flash photo galleries for each of the dessert categories.

I also optimized the website for search engines using the data compiled during my keyword analysis.

I was commissioned to design a promotional website for the book, “The 85% Solution: How Personal Accountability Guarantees Success — No Nonsense, No Excuse”.

I featured a large image of the book cover to draw people in and borrowed the color scheme and wood grain texture to stylize the rest of the website’s layout.

Locations of where to purchase the book are prominently featured in the left column beneath the book cover.

Eipon Website

Eipon is a web application that utilizes a digital recorder enabling language teachers and tutors to assign audio homework quiz students. The app also allows students to work on the assignments anywhere, anytime.

The client requested the website design be simple and intuitive so even those who are not tech-savvy could use the site. The simple, uncluttered layout with larger fonts and buttons clearly guides the user through the web application’s options.

Noospheric is a multi-disciplinary consulting and development agency providing companies the strategy, creativity, and technology necessary to succeed in today’s global marketplace.

Noospheric wanted a website developed that would attract both potential investors and entrepreneurs. They also had quite a bit of information they needed placed on their home page.

I designed a clean, professional website that clearly drew attention to each type of visitor they targeted. The grid layout also allowed for them to place their videos, news, Twitter feed, company overview, and 3 call out areas with the homepage getting overcrowded.
